England vs Spain the Spanish Perspective

In the Thwaites Dumpers4goalposts campaign, we followed and engaged with the 18 European distributors, from the 24 participating in Germany, who had an authorised and approved Thwaites dealership.

We followed and reported on each game when a distributors county from the network was playing.

Little did we know that in the final we would find England playing Spain.

Every English perspective is considered from every English fan and broadcaster, so we thought it might be interesting to get the perspective from our friends over at Ubaristi in Spain, so we caught up with Ubaristi Director, Karol Duran Rioseco on the Friday before the final.

How are the Spanish feeling ahead of the final?

We think it’s going to be a very exciting game. Like all finals and the English, we just hope it doesn’t go to penalties… and that Spain will have won by the 90th minute.

What has impressed you the most about Spain’s performance?

Since the first game, Spain have played beautiful football for the spectators, unlike other teams, with a lot of pressure and attacking as a block. We have actually enjoyed all of Spain’s matches.

What has Spain reaching the final done for the country?

We know there will be a lot of excitement for all the fans and even more promotion for this sport in an already football crazy country.

What do you want from Spain on Sunday?

We would like Spain to win the final, of course. Spain has a very motivated and fighting team and we think given the performances so far, they deserve to win the European Championship.

Who has been your favourite Spanish player?

There are a lot of players who have played very well. If we had to choose one, we would probably choose Rodri because he is very complete. As a revelation, it is clear that Lamine Yamal or Nico Wiliams have surprised everyone despite their youth.

Who is the player you admire the most on the English team?

Although he is getting on in years, one player we have always liked is Harry Kane. He’s a natural goal scorer and he’s always on his toes.

What is your prediction?

Spain 2 – England 1

Do you have a message for the English?
